Last headgasket question ?
Finally my 4.7 is in and now just need the headgasket. Hopefully the Gods here
will answer. So.... what I picked up is a Fel pro 36761 which according to the parts guy is a 43-51 thou head gasket with a 3.998 bore opening. Will this work for me ? Its not the Mopar p4529242 or the Victor Renix 54249. Am I okay with this ? They also had a felpro 26211 and another part number ( 9076 PT-1 ) which was a 40 thou. I literally have everything togather and the head, intake, carb, and exhaust manifold hanging on the cherry over the engine. I just need the gasket now. Super excited !!! Thanks

Not sure what that means friend. there is metal in the gasket material that I can see. The head is a 95 7120 and a 99 block.

Shit !!! This gasket doesn't have the triangle water jackets. The block and head do though.

Does it look like this:

If so its a MLS (Multi Layer Steel) Gasket. It compresses to .043"

It won't. The triangle ports don't match the head gasket. Only small circles in the head gasket. No gasket has a true match to the triangle holes.amceaglesx4 wrote:Shit !!! This gasket doesn't have the triangle water jackets. The block and head do though.
