I know this comes up alot...
So I've searched my face off and found no straight answers. I'm building a '97 4.7 stroker and I don't really feel like spending $270 on Accel injectors. Does anyone have a part number for some cheep stockers from another make or model that work. Because it seems like every thing I look for at this point is $200+. Then there is the EV1 vs EV6 , different pressure fuel rails. I just have no clue what the hell i'm looking for at this point.
Thanks for any help!
Thanks for any help!

I wouldn't get that style injector because of the potential for leaks. Try to get a newer 1-piece design. No one can say for sure what you engine will need but most shoot for 24#ers. There are plenty of 24#'s out there that will likely work for your build.

If it feels right, then STROKE it!

Sweet thanks for the info. Now I at least have a starting point and that's better than what I had before I started this thread. Like i said I just don't want to pay almost $300 for injectors.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

After some redundant searching to be sure I didn't miss something I came across a post that eventually led to find these. Seems to be exactly what the Dr. ordered for my '97 4.7 build. Thanks again for the previous information it did help.

FYI, those are 24 @ 39.15 psi. At 49 psi on your 97 they will be 26.8 lb/hr

The basic recipe im following for my stroker off of Dinos site above (4.7 medium buck) reccomends the accel 26lbs/hr injectors. So I figured the 24's would be fine because of the higher FP.
And whats wrong with 6 holes? The more holes the better the atomization right?
