Dowels missing after machine work

I am sure this is a dumb question but I am lost. I just had my block decked and when I got it back the locating dowels for the head were gone. :doh: I am sure that they had to remove them to do the work but where do I get new ones and how do I put them in?

Tell the shop that its their fault and you want them back

Yeah, they had them. and they apologized for not putting them back in.

just a side note...the dealer sells replacement dowell pins for a couple of bucks each
