won`t rev over 2000rpm`s

I have a 4.9stroker w/700r4 going in 92 yj it has 04 intake ,3.5 lhs fuel reg.,27pound inj.,k&n ,cps relocator(avance adapters) idles great & runs great up to 2000rpms(seems to hit rev limiter) no codes on computer 49psi on fuel rail any ideas? thanks for any help :brickwall:

Check your gap between crank sensor and wheel. Could be losing the signal at that rpm if it's not close enough. Also is this Just free reving or driving. Or both
boosted Comanche on megasquirt, 8.90"s in the 1/8th. getting faster one step at a time!!

@turbo its doing it both driving & not .avance adapters said you can gap with a credit card so thats how I did it but thats one of my first thoughts just won`t have time to pull tranny til the weekend plus I was hoping that isn`t it.does the wheel /marks need to be shined up to read it was a junk yard find? thanks
