Post by Luke95 »

Im a machinist, In training I should say :D
What is the formula for how much to take off to get a certain dish? I want to dish my pistons out 20CC for use in my 4.5 stroker with a turbo

Each 1cc added to the piston dish volume will reduce the CR by 0.1.

Oh OK. In that case each 0.010" the dish is made deeper adds 1.15cc to the volume.
