Only getting 7.08 on the new sensor, but that's better than 0. hopefully plug it all in tonight, but maybe tomorrow.

Put it in, and now it becomes trickier. Under load at any temp, it doesn't show any problems. At cold idle it stumbles. Under no load (idle/downshifting) it stumbles. And there's the occasional hiccup. Not sure if this will work itself out, but I know that the wideband is definitely top on the priority list.

Are you sure you are checking the correct wires and have the meter set on the correct scale? If so maybe you just got a bad new part.. it has happened before.

The middle and right pins when having the clip on top. It may be the cheap multimeter (one ohm setting but specifies the signal range), but it was very difficult to get any reading at all. Wrestled with it a bit to get between 10 and 7 ohms, where the stock never showed anything. I noticed the female/male adapter on my coil is a bit worn, so I ordered a new one along with a proper brace. Apparently having the coil held too tight can also cause problems. Once that goes in, I'll further diagnose the problem. Napa's 3 yr warranty will probably be exploited.

350 ish miles on the stroker so far. Still missing a bit. Swapped the cam sensor and cleaned/checked everything ignition related. A/F ratio is pretty steady around 14.5-14.8. What worries me is that at idle, when it misses once, the a/f will jump to 15-15.2. Is the unburnt fuel not read as rich for the wideband or could it be an injector issue?
MIL is on and says the timing between cam sensor and crank is off. Could be a skipped tooth, could be a tooth off in the distributor. I'll probably wait til Monday to look into it.

Kicked it back 1 tooth. It was much closer to lining up, but still ahead of cyl 1 by a smidgeon. Made it worse. During idle, the check engine started flashing for a bit even though it wasn't misfiring much, then I took it up the street and under load it was very harsh. Immediately limped it back.

my 97 has holes in the distributor for indexing to stock settings. When trying to do this with the current cam, I found that It was impossible without cutting one of the ears. So I cut one, bolted everything back together, and the rest of the other ear and surrounding metal broke off. Turns out I was 1/2 a tooth back, then 1 and 1/2 back--which explains the immediate failure. What surprises me is that the cam is supposed to have 4 degree advance, but was installed 4 degrees back, so it should have aligned straight up. Either the cam was off or the machinist didn't install it the way I asked. In either case, calling the pick/pull tomorrow.

This looks correct as the trailing edge of the rotor is @#1
If it feels right, then STROKE it!

Took it for a maiden voyage through some light trails Saturday. Graduating/moving this weekend and my buddies were excited to see what difference the stroker made.

Update: 1,700 miles
During that wheeling trip and back, the stroker had little power on the highway. When I got home, got a MIL for timing not lining up between the cam sensor and the crank sensor. Cut a tooth off of the dizzy mount and rotated it so that the holes lined up. Worked like a charm, but then the housing broke, and a second one. Third one I decided to measure out and widen the opening for the sensor to line up, rotating the cam sensor forward. Still had an issue, but that was found to be bad plug wires. Never trusting Magnecore again, Duralast is getting the job done for now. I can actually use 5th gear on the highway AND accelerate
MPG is in the 15-18 range, depending on my driving and wind. Changed the oil with no problems. Running a larger Mobile-1 301 filter and Penzoil. The Jeep made it down to FL in one piece and the stroker seems to be running well. The valvetrain noise is more than I am used to, but I am told that's just what happens with RR's
