Rod bearings
The more reading I'm doing on here the more pissed I'm getting with myself. When I received my bearings I was a little curious about the rod bearings without oil holes. I did a online search and found the Clevite article posted about deleting these oiling holes. So of course I went ahead and installed mine. Now I'm finding all these articles about how they are being modified.
Hope I'm ok.

Re: Rod bearings
My machine shop guy said the same. Apparently Ford did testing back in the 80's and determined it didn't make a difference.
While I like the idea of the squirt hole, I'd say the opinions of a race-engine builder and Ford Motor company outweigh my opinion!
