Where does this go pt. 1

OK I'm at the point of having the handfull of parts at the end ( or close to it )
I would like to pick your collective brains here!
Most of the unknown parts are gaskets, or in this case an "O" ring.
Three O rings in the gasket kit; lg., med., and small. Where does the small one go?

Part that bolts into block that holds oil filter (dim)


More to come! There are about 6 gaskets that I can't identify.

Look at the second picture... Next to the finger nail that is pointing to the outer medium size o-ring that has the smaller one on it. See where the bolt is there?? Look at the pic again closer and you can see the o-ring on the bolt right next to your nail.
