My Timing Cover Mod

Post by dwg86 »

The timing cover off of the 2001 4.0 did not have the bump on the timing cover for the cam pin to ride on so I made a steel button out of an aircraft fastener. The fastener is called a hi-lock. It has an interference fit. I installed the fastener with RTV. I figure this should wear better than the aluminum timing cover.
