I'm looking for any recommendations for a reputable machine shop in the PA,NJ,DE,MD area I live outside Philadelphia. I have the original engine I took out of my 05 Wrangler last year it has 364k on it but ran good and was quite that will be my donor engine for the build. I reconditioned the whole Jeep last year and put a lower mileage engine in it but it knocks like the pistons are cracked. I don't drive it much 3,500 in the past year.
I think I'll reach out to Russ and ask his recommendation on what internals to put in it. I basically just drive it around the house and to work and trips wheelin it on the weekends. Basically looking for it to make all the power by 3500 4000 rpm and I'm not looking for the ultimate stroker build. I want it to be budget friendly.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated If you all need any more info let me know.

Re: Machine shop in PA,NJ,DE,MD
I used HP Engines in Thompsontown, PA for many years. They did the work on my 4.6 stroker. (717) 535-5409. Rod will most likely answer the phone. They're on Old 22 between Lewistown and Harrisburg, closer to Lewistown. I lived in New Jersey when I had them machine my stroker parts, drove well over 2 hours one-way, several times, because I trust them that much.
