I'm looking for a good recipe for getting the most compression with a 4.7 stroker. Looking for the neighborhood of 13 to 1. This is a fresh, ground up build. Going by our groups rules, carburetor and race fuel only. I'm new to the AMC 6 cylinder, so any information is appreciated.
Thank You all in advance.

Re: Max Compression
You're going to need the thinnest Cometic head gasket available plus custom flat top pistons with valve reliefs to get the static CR anywhere near 13:1.

Thanks. That's the kind of information I'm after, different combinations and ideas.

Re: Max Compression
In addition to my 3.935/4.7 bore piston you might consider one of my flat top 3.970 1.385 CH pistons.
We can adjust the combustion chamber volume to target your desired static compression ratio range.
Feel free to reach out to me if you want any additional information.
