I completed my first stroker build recently. I was hoping for some feedback from some more experienced/ knowledgeable people. I used racetec pistons, scat 9000 crank, scat 4.0 connecting rods, comp modified 235, johnson lifers. Stock rockers. 7120 head.
I'm hearing what I believe is lifter tick. I probably have 30k miles.
1) could my lifters need to be replaced already due to my spring pressure?
2) I used a 9.6 pushrod is that the correct length? My head and deck were only surfaced.
Thank you for any help much appreciated.

Re: Pushrod length
Check the lifter preload on all 12 lifters. You should only need to turn the rocker arm bolts another 1/2-3/4 turn (equivalent to 0.030"-0.045") beyond the zero lash point to reach the proper torque.
