Stroker fuel injectors

Hey Jeepers,
I haven't asked this yet. Which fuel injectors do I need for a 4.6 stroker? I know some of you are using the 24# Fords. Which ones specifically, so I can search eBay. Does one of the members on the site sell them? Are the Mopar 23.2# as good? Will these run well enough to get my break in miles before I go to UniChip for a chip and tuning? Will the bigger injectors work without an adjustable FPR? Will the UniChip eliminate the need for an adjustable FPR or an adjustable MAP?

Thanks for all input,
Todd

I got my injectors at www.fiveomotorsport.com Bruce should know what you need. The 24# should work for you.

Hey Silver XJ.
I called Bruce and got injectors. Weirdly, he lived in my town in Oregon six months out of the year, LA the other six. These sound like cool injectors.

Thanks,
Todd

I don't know about kewl, but as long as they provide the right amount of fuel, sure. Injectors are pretty much injectors with the exception of 4 hole vs 1 hole disc and then the style, ball, pintle, or disc. The 4 hole, which you should be receiving, does a better job of atomizing the fuel, or so I am told.

Yeah, true. I guess I'm just thinking about the whole thing being together  It will have been down about 5-6 weeks by the time I get it back up and running, so I'm antsy

Between my first purchase and the engine starting was about a year and a half.

I get WAY too anxious... I have to have most of my planning completed before i start down the road on a project. I am not the type of person that can start a project and watch it sit for 2 or 3 months while some other aspect is being figured out or finished (IE: bored and honed block, but still a bare head with no valves in it or parts to build it). I laid out my planning before hand, started buying parts for my stroker in August, and i had it running in October.

I have the Ford Racing 24lb'ers in mine with stock fuel pressure regulator, stock MAP voltage, and stock computer. The fuelling is bang on.
I'd say you'll need the same injectors +/- MAP adjuster depending on your stroker specs.
