Been working with blinders on........All my builds have been based on 4 cwt and 12 cwt from CJ/YJ donor 4.2`s.

Have come across a Gremlin 1970-78 it should have a 3214723 right ? With the end drilled for a pilot bearing/bushing even though it was likely an automatic ?

Unless it is a 70 then it would have a 3199738 with the small pilot.

Just checking......

Never seen any AMC crank that wasn't manual compatible?, Only Chrysler put different cranks in the engines per what trans it would have behind it as far as I'm aware?

Thanks IH, appreciate the help.

As mentioned, the CJ/YJ has always been the crank on my radar. Never paid much attention to the car models.

In this case a 73 Gremlin 258 engine popped up and with 12 cwt`s getting harder and harder to find it`s worth harvesting. Was just not sure if perhaps the car models used a different pilot.

Anyone need any 73 parts CHEAP ?
