Every now and then I see 232 cranks appearing in ebay from a seller in Istanbul Turkey. These, together with the occasional 258 crank, apparently came from a bunch of old military Jeeps. It seems there aren't many 258 cranks left 'cause he's sold so many and the prices have shot up to $300+. A decade ago you could easily find a 258 crank for less than $100 (mine cost a mere $77). Now it seems used 258 cranks have become like golddust (no, not the WWE wrestler

).
As 258 cranks become harder to find and more expensive, 232 cranks may indeed become more popular for mini-stroker builds especially as it's possible to build one with cheap off-the-shelf pistons.

If I was smart I`d go snag it and save it for someone who might want it.
