Every now and then I see 232 cranks appearing in ebay from a seller in Istanbul Turkey. These, together with the occasional 258 crank, apparently came from a bunch of old military Jeeps. It seems there aren't many 258 cranks left 'cause he's sold so many and the prices have shot up to $300+. A decade ago you could easily find a 258 crank for less than $100 (mine cost a mere $77). Now it seems used 258 cranks have become like golddust (no, not the WWE wrestler ;)).
As 258 cranks become harder to find and more expensive, 232 cranks may indeed become more popular for mini-stroker builds especially as it's possible to build one with cheap off-the-shelf pistons.

If I was smart I`d go snag it and save it for someone who might want it.
