For a moment I tought that FAST had a new intake manifold of their own but when looking a bit closer it seems to be a stock one just for displaying their injection stuff.

That doesn't look like a 4.0 intake at all. Looks as if it's a stock 4.2 intake. It would be much better suited on a intake designed for a four barrel carb.

4.2L carb intake. Throttle body injection. $1400? What a waste of money.

btw, I did research it... couldn't find much except this, advertising the throttle body for 4.2s. From what I can tell it converts a carb setup to fuel injection.

The 4500 class guys from Colorado (Rants) use it on there Scrambler.

Heart of the system is a WB O2 that sends signals to a pre programmed ECU. Very limited amount of adjustability for both fuel and spark. The ECU is smart enough to keep the AFR in the "safe" zone. At least what it thinks is the safe zone. Beyond that, well..........

A JTEC set up with the right tune is far superior.
