Pontiac Trans sporter valve springs

Post by str8-6 »

Can't find it, but as I recall someone listed on here that he used valvesprings and retainers from a Trans Sporter on a 4.0 head, what year and engine did they come from, would like to try them out on my new ported head when it's done,so tired of bouncing valves as it is now.

Thnx/ Hasse.

Don`t have an specific answer but why not Engle 593`s ? You don`t mention what cam your running but the 593`s work well for lifts under .500 ish.

My camshaft is a Crane with .484/.512 lift, and if I remember correctly those V6 springs should work up to .525
