First off, I would like to thank everyone for the advice and info from this forum.
Now for my issue. I lit off the motor last Thursday and did the cam breakin. Worked good. Next day I ran the motor and it stumbled a bit. Threw some misfire codes on all cylinders. I rechecked timing and reset the Camshaft Position Sensor related to TDC of 1. Ran pretty good. Ran for one day and then popped some codes again. All cylinders said misfire had happened. I also am using a ton of gas. Have 100 miles on it so far.
So I figured this is happening since I have not yet had a chance to sync the cam sensor to the crank sensor and a fuel sync to the cam. I have an appointment tomorrow to do these syncs. I need advice.
The Snap on tool they will be using is said to allow for adjustment of the cam to the crank and the fuel to the cam.
What advancement in degrees should I do in regards to the crank and cam if my cam is 266/272 with lift of 471 and 484?
Also, I believe Flying Ryan said to make the fuel sync at +5 in relation to the cam. My question is... Should I still do that if I advance the timing? I think so since the fuel sync is allowing the injectors to pulse earlier than normal for cam opening and spark, but I don't want it to be too early.
I need to have this running reliably for now before I can take time to data log it and have Ryan tune it beyond that.

What year is this?Im assuming an obd2 jeep.If so just set the injector timing to plus 5 and call it a day.It may pay to play with this some but it is trial and error.change it drive it and repeat until you find the happy spot.you need the scanner everytime you make a change so you know were to set it to later as it does affect fuel trims.There are no set rules here as every motor is different unless you have copied a setup but plus 5 seems to work well on mild stuff.I played with this quite a bit on mine as i have a scanner and found mine liked more than most but i also have alot more cam and compression than most.Hope this helps.

Sorry just reread your post.How are you advancing the timing as its controled by the computer?The only thing you can adjust is the fuel synch.

Ignition timing is PCM controlled.

FlyingRyan, I did the fuel sync and put it at +5 and it has run great for the last 1,500 miles. I am now ready to tune it through a SCT. Will be in contact as soon as I purchase a SCT 3200 x3
