TB Spacer or NO ?

Post by jsawduste »

Jeff fixed up my FUBAR throttle plate (drilled the air bleed to large) and now it`s time to go back together.

Re-install the 1 inch spacer or not ? Late model intake with 63mm TB.

The engine pulled some pretty good numbers on the dyno so I am leaning towards re installing it..........But...........

Since you already have the spacer, I say reinstall it if it's already bored out to 62 or 63mm. I found that the spacer gave me a near 1mpg improvement in gas mileage when I first installed it more than 13 years ago. I'm still using it now even with the '01 intake manifold.
