88 w/newer intake ??
I have a 88 xj that i want to build a stroker for it, can i run a newer head, and make a adapter plate for my throttle body ? Or can i modify my intake to fit the new head ? thanks.

HO head. Use Renix intake/exhaust gasket to match port intake and exhaust and head ports to it.

You could always adapt everything from the head up from any Model year you want.. just reuse all your Sensors and your good to go.
Going this route though, you will have to adapt things like fuel lines, cables (TV, Throttle), TPS, etc. Its worth it though especially if you go with a 99+ intake manifold.
