Correlation Fault?

Post by RareCJ8 »

Cold starts, lean misfire, multiple efforts to start. rough idle, long clod start loop, etc etc. OBD1 on 4.6 engine.

Trouble code says its a camshaft to crankshaft correlation fault. the disto is properly indexed. the CPS is from the MOPAR kit and we have experimented shimming it to eliminate pinging, but cannot seem to clear this fault. Both shafts must be in phase/harmony and right now, they're not.

ideas? thanks

Your timing set could have been installed one tooth off. You might want to check that out.
