Head Build

Running a mildly ported 7120 head with Engle SBC springs and Mopar rollers otherwise stock.

Considering doing another head build. Plenty of information out there but much of it i hidden in random posts.

Can we create a single thread on what would be an idea head build ?

Baseline of minimal seat pressure consistent with .500 net lift.

Stock size valves or not, back cut swirlies, lightweight retainers, screw in studs, springs, port shapes, 7120 or ??, chamber volumes between castings and so on.

Have a hunch there is some good airflow numbers that can be pulled out IF the right combination of parts gets used.
