change push rods after milling the deck?

Post by titan »

If you mill 0.020" from the deck do you need to change push rod length to make sure the geometry is good?

Push rod length doesn't have anything to do with the geometry, it affects lifter preload only.

x2. Milling or shimming the rocker pedestal, or moving the valve stem changes rocker geometry,
However, check your preload to see if you have the correct pushrod length.
