valve covers?

hey does anyone know if the older aluminum v-cover will work with the felpro stud kit for the head bolt and the pedistal mount harland sharp rockers? i was going to get another steel one but there is a nice aluminum one on the spare engine i bought and was thinking of using that

If they are the adjustable HS rockers they won't fit. And I don't recall if the non adjustables fit either.

it says the non adjustables fit but you have to modify the oil baffle in the v-cover, i guess ill just have to try some trial and error. im going to the junk yard sunday ill just grab a steel one just in case. i need a timing cover, fuel rail, crank pulley, ect. speaking of that wasnt it you silver that found that performance balancer?

havent tested yet but i stripped the block down today and there is a ear on the aluminum v-cover that i dont think the will clear the fatter nut
