hi guys new to this just wanna.say hi first of all
iv got a little prob and was wondering if u could help iv got jeep cherokee grand limited 2001 with a blown engine now iv got a new engine to drop in but not sure if it will drop straight in or if i need to alter anything the old engine has the engine no 53010328ab and the new 1 is 53010449 now.iv researched this no and its coming up as 98 engine there is 1 coming up for the same no but with 53010449aa how much differenceis there between the engine and will i be able to do.the.swap cheers in advance

53010449 fits a 96-98 Wrangler, Cherokee and 96-97 Grand
53010449AA fits a 99-01 Cherokee and 1999 Wrangler

You need a 53010327AB, 53010328AB for your WJ. The others are too much of a hassle to swap over.
