Right! I forgot about decking the block.(I can not go back and edit that in now.) I am shooting for zero deck height, but mainly to remove any baked on gasket and surface imperfections from gasket removal. It should end up at a maximum of 8.44:1 DCR(7.6 elevation corrected) and 9.67:1 SCR(8.57). I am not too worried about having to run 91 octane gas.
