Lunati timing

Post by Greenneck »

I have a lunati cam none of the numbers i have found here match mine. part 10689905 grind 34-b185a-b127a duration .05 208 214 advertised 264 268

Im trying to make sense of my timing and now Im worried this cam might be whats throwing me off. On the paper work it says "the above center line will make this cam 4 advanced" Now does that mean that i should be setting this 4 degrees behind tdc when installing my distributor or something entirely different? I was told this would be a computer friendly cam and help keep my compression down to a 87 -89 octane level for dd.

Drop the distributor in as normal. The spark plugs fire based on crank location.
