Long story skinny, started my stroker last night for the first time. took about 4 seconds then VROOM, a little bit of a vacuum hiss. then it smoothed out, i gave it about 15 seconds then started the cam break in, i ran it at 2000 rpm for 15-20 minutes (18 to be exact). About 6 minutes in it started jumping in rpm by about 100 rpm +/- then by about 8 minutes in it smoothed out to be the smoothest sounding engine ever. Leaked some trans fluid because my counterpart in the build didn't snug it down on the upper trans line but no biggy. (small drips) and some coolant from the thermostat housing for the first 3 minutes or so dripped out. Had smoke for the first few minutes, but it smelled like when i installed a new head.
I used castrol gtx (non synthetic) dinosaur oil with lucas break in additive. you dont need to get brand specific here.

Anyway, after 18 minuites i let it slow down taking about 90 seconds to go from 2000 rpm to idle. it sat around 650 rpm or so at idle and sounded smooth. Also for record my Oil pressure on initial start up was around 65 psi, then dropped to about 15 at idle after the break in period. (no leaks so far.) so i shut it down. Let it sit for about 5 minuites and tried to start it again and it struggled. MY lights and console dimmed and it sounded like i could hear electricity making a popping noise. So this afternoon ill check my starter connections and stuff, Also it sounded like i could hear air escaping somewhere. almost like if you tried to start it with a spark plug not in a whole, like i could hear compression. Maybe one of the exhaust bolts isnt tight enough or something, my father torqued them down but you never know. The exhaust was pretty hot and seemed to be running a little lean.
Food for thought, Im running all stock sensors. Just replaced with new ones, Exhaust and intake are all stock as well.

Thanks for all your help in advance, and excuse the off center camera (wife was trying to get my reaction more than the engine start) im in the drivers seat obviously.
Cheers guys
