Need help with power steering pump bracket...

Post by JpBooth »

I have a 95 block using the 2686 head(87-90). My vehicle is a 96 Grand. and I'm using all the accessories(intake, exhaust, brackets, a/c, power steering pump, etc) off of my old motor(96 4.0 bone stock). So the problem is since I'm using the 2686 head my power steering pump bracket doesn't line up with my intake manifold. Question is, is there any quick fix for this like using the 99+ intake and psp, or should i rig up an adapter?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have to fab something or get the proper intake manifold / PS pump combo.
If it feels right, then STROKE it!

i ran into that going from a 87 block to a 96 head. originally had the 98 intake, not noticing it had a differnt pump, so i got the 96 intake instead then noticed the bracket used the same pump but differnt braket, so i just got the intake and braket
