2004 wj 4.0 stroke e - 85 ?
Looking to stroke a 2004 wj 4.0 but interested in the pros and cons of e - 85 , is it do able, or stick with 87 octane , needless to say I'm new

Its doable. My buddy was trying to talk ne into it. He has a stroked and blown 6.0 in his GTO on e85. Need a bigger fuel pump and of course everything that comes with suppling the motor with more fuel

General rule for e85 is you need 30% more fuel at the same performance level vs 92-94 oct pump gas
That being said, you wont see any real benefit on an NA setup either. In fact you may lose performance unless you did an aggressive engine build specifically for e85. Now if you're boosted, e85 can be a good fuel for a few reasons ...

Yeah I did some more research its a no go, now to see about what I need to do a stroked 4.0 to 4.6 on 87 octane, seen people posting elevations is it that big of a deal
