Jet Custom Chips

Post by AGM114 »

So in doing my research for my eventual stroker build I have been reading a lot about ECUs and the various roads people have taken. I found that JET Performance has a custom chip program. Below is the website that has the form for their custom chip program. The form is goes pretty in-depth about engine specs and various add ons. I emailed JET with a question about custom stroker chips and prices, I will post what they say when I get a reply. If anyone else has gone down this road or has experience with it, please speak up, otherwise this looks like it could be a good way to get a custom tuned stroker without the hassle of putting it on a dyno.

There are companies that can do a better job by tuning the PCM itself. All a Jet chip does it either changes the inpura or the outputs, not the actual program. Similar to a piggy back.

If you want that level of tune, that is pretty much the only way to do it.. or road tune. No out of the box chip will get that close.

Got a response from Jet Performance earlier today, here is what they said:

"Unfortunately, we can not do custom tuning on 1996 and up Jeep/Chrysler. You will want to contact a Dodge dealership to see if they still offer a Mopar Performance PCM for your Jeep."

That puts that to rest.

If you want a custom tuned PCM get in touch with this guy: [email protected]. He can do a whole lot more than fuel and timing.
