Cam question

Are there any aftermarket cams, good for a mild 4.6/4.7 that will allow me to run stock valve train parts? .

I ask because I'm on a budget (like everyone else!) and I can get the comp cams I see are popular on here, for roughly half the price of an OEM camshaft. Thanks!

Mopar Performance "Purple" camshafts.... got the 229AC in mine and its seems great. Stock Springs.

Awesome thank you. How about any of the Comp or Crane cams? Just curious because I can't get Mopar parts where I work.

I'm new to Jeeps, but I've been reading the stock springs are lift-limited to around 0.450". (correct me if I'm wrong!)
I'm eying the Crower 44243. It's dual pattern with 194/204 duration, and 0.437"/0.445" lift.
The Crane 750501 has 192/204 duration and 0.427"/0.456" lift
Comp 68-201-4 has 212/212 duration and 0.447"/0.447" lift
The more popular Comp 68-231-4 and 68-232-4 cams both have lift over 0.460"/0.475' so there may be coil-bind issues.

I'm searching for valve spring options as well that don't cost a fortune and will work with a higher lift cam.

with the max lift of .450 on the stock valvetrain, one could then get the comp sk68-201-4 which is a kit that includes new lifters and a dual timing chain ... makes the cam upgrade relatively low cost.
