Probably not enough accessory mounting points on the 258 for all the 4.0 crap!?, and it's a fair DOWN grade in performance and economy.

was thinking it would be just about the same motor with the 4.0 head but i think i might get a used 4.0 and drop it in. keep the old one as a project and take my time. with the 4.2 that i have and the tired 4.0 it might be fun i'm not looking to do much just want to do what i have seen called a poor man's stocker its basicaly just crank and rood swap and keeping the rest stockIH 392 wrote:Probably not enough accessory mounting points on the 258 for all the 4.0 crap!?, and it's a fair DOWN grade in performance and economy.
