PSC 1 003 Program

Does any one have an PSC 1 003 Program tune, they would like to share for a 4.6 stroker I have a Jeep 2000 WJ and was thinking about adding a PSC 1 003
piggyback computer, I wanted to try to lean it out a little and save a little gas & gain a little more power .

You will only be able to lean it out in open loop, i.e. WOT pretty much. You will need a wideband to do that as well. Each combo is different so most likely you won't find one that will work for yours. Just install it and tune it yourself.

Thanks'' that sounds pretty simple I have read the PDF file and tune up instructions, but I've allso read that its hard to achieve becouse the jeep computer wants to take over
the tune you put in the PSC 1 003 unit, I dont know how true that really is ? I wanted to know from experienced people that has installed this computer
before you buy''''' allways ask a professional'''' that knows''' some times it pays to ask'' befor you buy, just wanted to know if it really works ?

The PCM taking over will only happen in closed loop when it is going off the O2 sensors. Which will be most driving under light and medium throttle. There it wants an AFR of 14.7:1, stoich. That usually yields the best mileage. Where you can actually tune is in open loop, which is used for start up and WOT. Under WOT you want 12.7-13 AFR.

I have to find a disc I had with my Split Sec tune. I forget if I had the 002 or 003(have to search here, lol), but have the one with the built-in map so not sure if it'll line-up for the one that doesn't have one(stock map modify). My laptop that had the tune is done-for. It's best to have a partner in crime beside you with the laptop and the obd2 scanner so he can see what cells need to be modified. I remember taking my Jeep out on the highway with my brother and pulling over every other mile and waiting the minute+ to write the new tune. I hate that there isn't a way to turn off the tuning map B(which I suspect is for the FTC's timing retard) to make the process quicker.
