knicked valve
I have a rebuilt 7120 head with 3 angle valve job. Ive had it for about 3 yrs now and finally getting ready to finish up my stroker build. I noticed today that one of the valves is nicked on the very top of it( where the rocker contacts it. It's not a crazy nick, but it looks the head got rolled over or something and the concrete or whatever marred it a little bit. My question is: What should I do? Let it go? Take it off and have it polished out? If I run my finger nail over it I can feel a small burr in the valve. Will this jack up my rocker? Re: knicked valve
Took some light sandpaper to it and realized that its actually a little bit of rust. Sanded it off, put a dab of motor oil on it and back to business.
