Holly EFI CONVERSION

Post by JEEP DRIVER »

I was on the "Holley web site" and I was looking at there Avenger EFI 4bbl Throttle Body Fuel Injection SystemPART #: 550-400 and I was wondering if this would work on the 242 or a 4.6 stroker with a clifford intake ? I know its expensive but always like the way the old school stuff looks, I would love to see a 4.6 stroker with triple weber carbs or a fuel injected down draft set-up. ( Just curious if its possable or if anyone here has done it) 8-)

It may be doable with the intake manifold I've been looking at from Clifford Performance, carburated intake manifold for the 4.0L/242ci, can be had in 2 or 4 barrel.

Yeah, that what am thinking because I seen the kits with this style set-up for the 4.2 and its very similar other than the fact they recommend the 2bbl application rather than the 4barrel (TBI).Which I understand for a stock trim application, but if you have a 4.6 or bigger i wouldn't see why a 4 bbl (TBI) application wouldn't work. That Avenger Fuel management demo is pretty cool to, would love to see that on a jeep....freaking expensive thou. 8-)
