my name is tim, i am from longview washington
i am working with a 1992 xj 4.0 that has started the beginning stages of strokage.
currently it is completely gutted and is getting pretty much a full redo short of a expensive paint job. the rig is intended to be a universal player. it will go to work, grocery store, parts runs, places like moabs tougher trails. it will follow my tj
we plan on going 4.7

Not real sure to where put my first post but here it is. I am currently building my first stroker and have found this forum to be full of useful information and big help. Has helped me out with a lot of decisions and made me kick myself in the butt on some others ( yeah I believed comp cams about the 926 springs). Hopefully I can continue to gather good advice and knowledge and get a great motor to enjoy and share with you guys. Guess I'll go start a build thread now so you guys can give me advice, point out silly mistakes, and have a good laugh on the new guy you know the fun stuff.

I have been researching this build for about 10 years now, so I have a pretty good idea of what I want and can get out of my jeep.
