engine mounts
Anyone know of a source for engine mounts to swap a 2000+ WJ/TJ 4.0 into a CJ or similar vehicle that was originally 258 powered?

Re: engine mounts
I have given up on finding any mounts that "bolt up." My options seem to be:
1. Use older HO engine. Mounts becomes trivial.
2. Fab custom engine brackets that work with old style 258 engine mounts.
3. Weld brackets to frame to allow use of newer type mount.
I have engines from 94YJ and 03TJ to choose from. I think I will go with option #1 to get my truck back on the road, then pursue #2 at my leisure.

Re: engine mounts
what about the 91-95 yj wrangler mounts, the front part of the frames should be close enough to make them work

You might try giving Brown Dog a call. They might be able to fab up some if you give them some measurements.
