Long rod & cast pistons?

Is this possible with the cast pistons being sold now? Or what?
I do not wanna deal with longer warm ups and piston slap again. PLUS I WANT MY MOTOR TO LAST 250K+ without worrying about a rebuild. I'll be using stock valvetrain & cam so those aren't a concern.

I would love to keep my long rods but I also want to use cast pistons! Cast or hypers are perfect for my application and I refuse to use forged for something that doesn't need them. I want cast or hypers are because it's a daily & I don't like higher maintenance that comes with the forged units.
Yea I know some people say they aren't bad and this, that & the other...but I've lived with them before and I just prefer having cast or hypers where they are due. Since this wont under boost, nitrous or any extreme conditions forged pistons just aren't needed.

So is there any cast or hyper pistons I can use in a .30-.60 overbore with my stock 4.0 rods?
I'm decking the block and stuff anyway so that's not a concern.

No hyper or cast piston would work with the 4.0L rod. I am not even sure that one could have a custom piston made cast or hyper.

Run 4032 Icon 944s at .0025"-.003" clearance and you won't have noticeable piston slap. Just because you go with hypers or cast that doesn't mean you don't need to warm up as well.

I'm aware of the warm up either way..I've owned both. I just don't think it's worth it, no matter what the forged will wear sooner because of the clearance an stuff.
No reason it shouldn't last 200k+ though right? I've never really heard of a high mileage forged motor lol.
Mainly because people blow or change it up before they get to high mileage.

So what about in our condition does anyone thinkthe forged KBs will last 200k+ without a rebuild?
I'm worried about therings not the pistons. I'm worried about the rings & blow by after 100k because of extra piston movement and stuff. These are the main concerns.

Id worry more about your cam going 200,000,if it does your forged pistons will be in the same shape as valve guides,bearings,timing set, and every thing else,still running but almost wore out.
Worry about somthing that matters,not the dependability of a really nice set of forged pistons.

Well my last 4.0 had 308k on it, and since I'm using new OEM cam & springs and such...those aren't my biggest concern.
Just gotta keep up on maintenance.
I guess I got some decisions to make. Is 3500 FPM a safe piston speed? I used this math to come up with it...
Stroke x RPM /6=?
3.895 x 5300/6=3441 FPM (rounded up to 3500)

Idk how it would differ between the long or short rod? Any advice on piston speed between the 2?
I remember hearing that the closer to 3000FPM the better & more reliable!
