Got a HESMS6 mains stud kit from Hesco.
Machinist says they won't work.
I go to the shop, sure enough they are way too long, wont even snug down on the mains.
Tap the hole out deeper, still wont even snug down.
I think these are made for a setup with a girdle.
Bought 2nd set ARP 4.060 - 1lb.
Fits good. Maybe just a fluke block?

Re: Mains studs
I would ask Hesco, but I have been told by another person that some of the blocks were not tapped deep enough or just barely deep enough for the stock main bolts.
