sealed powered h825cp (aka h802cp) 17.5cc or 15.1cc?

Post by qualm »

I am wondering what the cc is on these 2 pistons? I have been reading and have ran across conflicting numbers. On the FAQ piston page here: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewt ... ?f=34&t=67 it rated them as 15.1cc.

But if you read the article from 4wheeler.com here: http://www.fourwheeler.com/techarticles ... atios.html is has them rated at 17.5cc (with an actual measured cc of 18.8)

Does any one know which is true?

hi, the cc for the 802 is 15.1, that is according federal mogul. I had to buy one to band aid my 98 's motor that had #2 skirt drop off and since the pin height is slightly different i called them to find out how much difference the compression was from stock. I believe (don't bet the farm on it ) the total cc for the piston is around 15.8cc.
