OK I modeled mine from Dino's 4.6L except for the bold parts.
4.6L "poor man's" stroker
Jeep 4.2L 3.895" stroke crank Mine was from a 87 4.2L Wangler
Jeep 4.2L 5.875" rods 87 4.2L Wrangler
Sealed Power 677CP +0.020" bore pistons +0.030
9.25:1 CR
Stock 4.0 HO camshaft
Ported HO 1.91"/1.50" cylinder head Stock 1988 head
Mopar/Victor 0.043" head gasket
0.088" quench height 0.093
Ford 24lb/hr injectors with stock 39psi FPR for '87-'90 engines
During the first build I had some issues with cylinder wall and piston scoring! Machine shop cleaned up the pistons and honed the block. Also machined the wrist pins out some on the piston.
I have all the original fuel injection system expect the Ford injectors. Using modified stock air filter box! I have 31" tires with 4.10 gears, 2.25 exhaust with only a glass pack!
Attached is some pics of my build!

So far have 250+ miles on it and I am very pleased! Plan on dynoing the Jeep soon to get some numbers from the mile high city!
