help me pick a set of headers

Post by holeski »

I need some headers for both the MJ and YJ. The Yj has the Banks Power headers on but they are cracked worse then the stock ones did. Banks won't warrantee them since I got them though QT and not from Banks. Come to find out they all Banks crap is made in China and they now have a real bad BBB rating. Chances are I will just pull them and weld them. The MJ on the other hand I need to do something with. I'm putting a HO 96 head on my older 4.0L block thats 0.030 over. I was going to use the stock 96 ones but both sets I have are cracked and poor flowing units. What do you all think I should throw on there??

I love my Borla, but if I were to buy another header, it would be a Clifford.

If I had to do it again I'd go with a Borla or a Doug Thorley. I'm running an older-style Banks right now and have had no problems with it after 3 years though.
