Wiring Bundle Issue

I have the engine set, and I am ready to lay in the wiring bundle. Now for some advice.

The engine is from a 1996 XJ. It is going into a 1989 YJ.

When you guys set the wiring bundle in, do you use the complete bundle or do you seperate the fulle wiring set and install only the emissions or ECU wiring?

I think the firewall connections look the same, but I am sure the XJ had a lot more electronics.

I have the wiring diagrams and I understand what sensors are needed for the engine to run, but the full bundle is throwing me for a loop.

Help!!
