Ok guys heres what I got going so far... 94- 4.0 Block/ Pistons
81- Crank and rods
94- Head ported and work up...Decked .001
99- Intake
Cam: CL68-232-4 I didn't want to send the computer out of whack.
This is going into a 96 XJ 5speed with 4:56 gearing...and of course I'll be using the 96 OBDII harness and what not. I wasn't looking for a big build just something to do since I got laid off.. Tell me what ya think and what else I might be able to weasel into it without spending much.
PS I am still rolling around the idea about having it bored .060 but the cost of doing so seems to out weigh the gain.

Are you planning on using the old 4.0 pistons? If so, I would think you are going to have detonation problems.

that was the plan because i didn't have the money to get the new pistons..I can get the machine work pretty much free.
