500 mile update

Post by Maddawg »

Well after about 495 miles the stroker seems to run good. Has some good torque and when doing about 65 you can really feel the increased acceleration when touching the gas. Started with 93 oct and with the cold weather here 25degrees I have been running 87 with no noticable ping.I haven't done a manual clculation of milage, but according to the onboard indicator it's 16.3mpg highway and 11mpg around town. Thanks all for the help :worship: and I'll report back soon.
Dale

Don't remember, but if you aren't using the stock injectors that mileage reading from the overhead console is meaningless.

Thanks. I did use the stock injectors. I think my milage issue is tranny related. Seems like the shift points are really close together & it maynot be shifting into OD,...............just what I need  . Hoping they can just be adjusted through the shop computer.
