Post by Emmerrrrr »

Built a 4.7... Running stock injectors.. motors got about 2000 miles on i t... Its got a rough idle and when im putting around for a while... It loads up... I think I am getting some blow by.. On my rear tow points behind the exhaust its got black soot on it .... yesterday when wheeling it would just almost die but not stall just no power with my foot still on the pedal after about 20 seconds it would start to go again...goin down the road first gears real good then second breakes up for a 2000 rpms then runs real good I dunno what to start looking for dunno if i have to have the computer mapped or what... It is definatly a little rich thats why i never did the bigger injectors any stroker guys local to cleveland ohio area could really use some help with this would like to get the most out of the stroker... and input would be appreciated give me some direction of what to check

Gonna need more info on the engine to help you out. Was this something that just started happening or was it there from the start? Have you checked out your distributer? Specs on internals would help along with any aftermarket equipment your running.
