I'm new to this forum, but very interested in the 4.0L engine.
I have a 2000 Wrangler, with a bit over 100K miles on it. The build date on the vehicle was Oct'99.
I know there isn't a definitive answer to this, but are more of these early production heads actually fine, and don't crack, or is there a good chance it will, and it's just a matter of time?
I take extremely good care of my Jeep (and this engine!) but also realize the crack prone issue isn't necessarily related to maintenance.
Thanks for your insignt...
Jim
