This will be my first stroker, and was wondering what you experienced guys think of these numbers from the calculator
Liters: 4.59
SCR: 9.92
DCR: 9.03
Quench: .0725
This is with the 68-115-4 comp cam
Ideally I would like to run 87 but I highly doubt it because of the compression ratio. I am fine if i have to run mid grade though.
what would have to be done to make it run midgrade or 87? What are some good ways to make power and still be able to be driven every day.
Your help and opinions are greatly appreciated.

No way will you be able to run 87 with that SCR. Premium will be your friend.
I would recommend the comp cam 68-231-4 if you want a comp cam. I have one for sale if interested, but not trying to push it on you. The 68-115-4 is just really too small.
No one can tell you what octane you can run with what DCR/SCR. There is a thread on here, iirc titled "compression" that I have a post in with my experience and others. I'm just too lazy to type it out again.
I recommended getting in touch with oleshot on here and having him dish your pistons, and decrease your quench if you have a hope of running 87.

OK what would the piston have to be dished to and the block has been decked but the machine shop didn't tell me how much and do I just get a thinner head gasket to decrease quench?

The car quest gasket is about .043 compressed, what gasket thickness did you use for your calculation? You could also slightly offset grind your crank instead of decking the block.

8.5:1 DCR is the max that pump gas(93) can sustain w/o pinging. You need to shoot for a 8.25-8.4:1 to be on the safe side if you're looking to push the compression boundaries. Read:

I'm not sure what thickness I used. It was what ever value the stroker calculator put in for me. What is a good headgasket to use that bring the quench down to a reaonable value.
